More Math for More People
Episode 2.5: Where Joel and Misty celebrate Paul Bunyan and learn a lot about CPM's 8th grade support course
It's Episode 2.5 of the More Math for More People podcast!
This week, Joel and Misty celebrate National Paul Bunyan day and Misty challenges Joel to sing a Paul Bunyan song for you all!
Then they also talk with two people who know a lot about the CPM 8th grade support course, Inspirations and Ideas. Jamie Bernath, a teacher from Wisconsin, talks about her experience with the course in her classroom and Dr. Lisa Amick, an associate professor at the University of Kentucky, discusses the research done on the course so far. If you want kids to change their minds about math AND raise their math understanding, this is the course for you!
You can find out more about the Inspirations and Ideas course by contacting your Regional Professional Learning Coordinator (cpm.org/regional-contacts).
